How to Make a Group (Community) on Roblox
By Blox Handbook•
You make a group on Roblox by selecting Create Community from the communities page, choosing a name, a description and an emblem, and paying the creation fee in Robux. Roblox renamed groups to communities, so the menus use that word; everything that groups did, communities do.
How to create a community
- Log in on roblox.com or the Roblox app.
- Open Communities from the menu.
- Select Create Community.
- Enter a name and a description, and upload an emblem image.
- Choose whether anyone can join or people must request to join.
- Pay the creation fee and confirm.
Creating a community has cost 100 Robux for years; the price is shown before you confirm.
What can you do with a community?
A community gives you 4 things a single account does not have:
- Shared ownership of games, so a team can build and publish together.
- Roles and permissions, to decide who can edit games, spend funds or manage members.
- A shared wallet, where sales of community games and clothing are collected and can be paid out to members.
- A community store for clothing sold under the community’s name.
How do you choose a good community name?
Keep it short, easy to spell and unique, because players search for it. The name goes through Roblox’s text filter, so avoid anything that could be flagged.
