How to Delete a Roblox Account (2026)
You delete a Roblox account from its privacy settings: open Settings, go to Account data, deactivation & deletion, and choose Delete. Roblox verifies your identity before it deletes the account, and the account must have a verified email address.
Delete or deactivate?
Roblox offers 2 options, and they are very different:

When an account is deactivated, some information can still be visible, such as items you listed on the Marketplace.
How to delete your Roblox account
- Log in to the account on roblox.com.
- Open Settings and go to the Privacy section.
- Under Account data, deactivation & deletion, select Delete.
- Follow the steps to verify your identity.
Before you start, add and verify an email address in your account settings if you have not already, because deletion requires one.
What you lose when you delete
Deletion is permanent. Your Robux, items, games, communities you own and your username history are gone, and Roblox cannot restore them. If you own games or communities you want to keep alive, transfer them to another account first.
How to deactivate instead
Follow the same path and choose Deactivate. Logging in again reactivates the account with everything still in it.
