How to Join a Group (Community) on Roblox

To join a group on Roblox, search for it, open its page and select Join Community. Roblox now calls groups communities, so the button and menus use that name. Some communities let you in at once; others send the owner a request to approve.

How to join a community on the website or app

1. Use the search bar and choose to search Communities, or open a community link from a game page.
2. Open the community’s page.
3. Select Join Community.
4. If the community reviews new members, your request stays pending until an admin approves it.

Why can’t I join a community?

There are 3 common reasons:

• The community is private or approval-based, and your request has not been accepted yet.
• You have reached the limit of communities your account can be in. Leave one you no longer use to make room.
• The community is locked or closed by its owner.

Why join a community?

Many games are owned by communities. Joining one can give you in-game ranks, access to community-only servers, news about updates, and the community’s clothing store.

How to leave a community

Open the community’s page, open the menu next to its name, and choose Leave Community.
