How to Get a Refund on Roblox
Roblox gives refunds only in limited cases, and where you bought something decides who can refund it. Charges made without permission can be refunded by Roblox’s billing team, purchases made through Apple, Google, Xbox or PlayStation must be refunded by those stores, and Robux spent inside games are generally not refunded.
Who handles your refund?
| How you paid | Who can refund it |
|---|---|
| Credit or debit card, PayPal or Google Play on roblox.com | Roblox Customer Support |
| iPhone or iPad (Apple) | Apple |
| Xbox or Microsoft Store | Microsoft |
| PlayStation, Meta Quest, Samsung or Amazon | That store |
| Roblox gift card | No refunds; Roblox does not refund gift cards |
How to report a charge you did not make
If someone used your card on Roblox without permission, such as a child buying Robux:
- Contact Roblox Support before you dispute the charge with your bank.
- Describe the charge and provide the details Support asks for.
- Wait for the billing team to investigate eligible charges.
Contacting Roblox first matters: once a charge is disputed with the bank, Roblox cannot give a direct refund, and accounts tied to unauthorized charges can be closed.
Can you get Robux back for an item or game pass?
Usually not. Robux spent on Marketplace items or inside games are not refunded as a rule, and game creators cannot return Robux or money for purchases made on Roblox. Check every purchase before you confirm it.
Can you get a refund for Premium or Plus?
Cancel before the renewal date to avoid being charged again; see how to cancel Roblox Premium or Plus.
